At least 13 armed insurgents including five Daesh militants were killed during airstrikes by the Afghan Air Force in the past 24 hours across the country, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

Airstrikes were conducted in Paktika, Sar-e-Pul, and Jawzjan provinces.

The ministry of interior also stated that during the strike weapons and vehicles belonging to the armed insurgents were also destroyed.
