5 Killed, 20 Wounded In Attack On Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Court

At least five people were killed and 20 others were wounded during an attack by an number of armed men and suicide bombers on a court in Charsadda district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday morning, Pakistani media reported.

Early reports indicate three blasts occurred at the attack scene.

The reports indicate that Pakistani security forces have arrived at the scene and three bombers have been killed who attempted to wreak havoc at the local court.  
 
One bomber was killed in the firing at the gate, whereas the second was killed as he entered the court. The third bomber was killed when he detonated his explosives, the Dawn reported.

The reports come as security has been heightened across Pakistan after the recent wave of attacks which left dozens of people killed and wounded.

Charsadda is a nearly 40 minute drive from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial capital, Peshawar.
