Senior Canadian government officials, particularly Canada’s foreign minister and his deputies, have rejected repeated requests by the Afghan ambassador to meet with them, an official letter obtained by TOLOnews reads. 

Shinkai Karokhail, the Afghan ambassador to Canada, officially asked in a letter to the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for them to look into the matter. 

A copy of the letter obtained by TOLOnews, mentions that the Afghan ambassador has asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul to address the issue while considering mutual relations between the two countries.   

TOLOnews was unable to obtain comment from the Canadian embassy on Tuesday night.
