Five Children Killed In Laghman Rocket Attack

At least five children were killed in Laghman province on Saturday when a rocket hit a village in Mehtralam city, the capital of Laghman province, local officials said.

According to them, another two children were wounded.

Provincial governor spokesman Sarhadi Zowak confirmed the incident and said that the rocket was fired by the Taliban.

Zowak said the two wounded children are in a stable condition.

No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
