Both Rashid Khan and Nabi return to Sunrisers after playing for the same team last year.

Nineteen-year-old Rashid Khan, also known as Afghanistan’s “million dollar baby” had a sterling career last year which saw him rise to stardom around the world as he scalped wicket after wicket during various premier league tournaments.

After last year’s IPL he went on to play for the Caribbean League, the Bangladesh league and currently for Australia’s Big Bash League.

Rashid was also recently named the ICC Associate Cricketer of the Year.

Next week he will play in Australia’s BBL semifinals for Adelaide Strikers but it will be his last match in the league as he will join the Afghan national team for the upcoming tournament against Zimbabwe.

But so far, he has already taken 17 wickets for the Strikers.

Nabi meanwhile played only three matches for Sunrisers last year but was still a sought after player by the team.

Zadran, who is only 16 years old, is currently playing for Afghanistan’s U19 squad in the ongoing ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Zadran meanwhile shot to fame after claiming four wickets in his ODI debut against Ireland in 2017.
