At least four Taliban insurgents were killed in a clash with security forces in Wardak province on Tuesday night, local officials said.

The clash occurred in Karimdad area of Narkh district of Wardak province, officials said.

Seven other Taliban insurgents were wounded.

One police soldier was wounded in the clash. There were no civilian casualties.  

According to security officials, weapons and equipment were seized by security forces.
