Ghani on Official Two-day Trip to Uzbekistan

President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul on Monday afternoon for a two-day official trip to Uzbekistan, the Presidential Palace confirmed in a statement.

President Ghani will meet Uzbek leaders and will discuss developing relations and cooperation’s in different sectors, according to the statement.

“It’s expected that agreements between both countries will be signed in the fields of security, air and land transit, economics and trade, education, energy and agriculture, it said.

The statement did not provide further details.
