Kunduz Airstrike Kills 18 Taliban Insurgents

At least 18 Taliban militants were killed in an airstrike by foreign forces in Kunduz province, Pamir 20 Army Division said in a statement on Saturday.

Seven other militants were wounded in the airstrike, the statement added. 

The statement said the airstrike was carried out in Dasht-e-Archi district of the province.

A number of vehicles belonged to the insurgents were destroyed in the strike, the statement added.

This comes after the foreign forces’ airstrikes have recently started against insurgents in a number of volatile provinces.
