Police Rescue 12-Year-old From 'Terrorists' In Wardak

A 12-year-old boy, Mohammad Muslim, who was abducted by two “terrorists” a few days ago form the west of Kabul city, has been rescued, local officials said.
 
The boy was kidnapped and taken to Jalrez district of central Wardak province where he was rescued by police, local officials said in a statement on Saturday.
 
The two “terrorists” tried to move the boy to an unknown location and “wanted to use him for their terrorist attacks but the police found the men and arrested them in Jalrez district,” it said.
 
After investigations, the police called Muslim’s family and he was reunited with his family, it added.
 
Muslim's farther "thanked" the security forces for their efforts and saving his child.
 
The statement did not provide further details. 
 
Muslim’s abduction was the 3rd kidnapping case that had been solved by Wardak’s police in the past a month, according to local officials.
