Three civilians, all members of one family, were killed when a rocket landed in their house in Alasai district of Kapisa province, local officials confirmed Friday.
“A rocket landed in a house during a clash between Afghan security forces and militants in Sherkhail village of Alasai district. As a result, three women – including a newly-wed bride – were killed and a man was wounded,” Kapisa governor Mohammad Khalid Hashemi told TOLOnews.
Hashemi said it is not known yet that the rocket was shelled by security forces or the Taliban.
According to him, all the victims are members of one family.
