Security Forces Arrest Iranian National 'Suicide Bomber'

Security officials in the western province of Nimruz have said that the Afghan security forces have foiled a coordinated suicide attack by a Taliban bomber in the province.
 
Nimruz police chief Khawja Jailani Abu Bakr has said that the attacker has claimed to be an Iranian national.
 
The arrest was made in the Khashrod district of the province, the security officials said.
 
According to Jailani, the suspect was arrested during a battle between the Taliban and the security forces, adding that there were some reports that one of the Taliban militants killed during the battle with the security forces was the cousin of the suspect.
 
 Afghan security forces have in the past reported the existence of Taliban who were said to be coming from Iran.
