A suicide bomber was killed by his own explosives before hitting his target in Ghazni province on Thursday afternoon, local officials said.

Ghazni police Aminullah Amarkhail said the incident took place when the suicide bomber, riding a motorbike, wanted to target a police outpost in the province but his explosives detonated and he was killed.

According to him, two civilians were wounded in this incident.
