At least three people were killed and another was injured in a night raid in eastern Nangarhar province’s Khewa district on Tuesday night, eyewitnesses said on Wednesday.

Troops also reportedly arrested at least 10 people. 

Eyewitnesses claim the raid was carried out by foreign troops. 

Local officials confirmed the operation but did not give details about whether the operation was carried out by Afghan soldiers or foreign troops. 

However, eyewitnesses stated that all the victims were civilians. 

Local officials said they are investigating the claims.
