Two Children Killed in Kapisa Roadside Mine Blast

At least two children were killed in a roadside mine explosion in north-eastern Kapisa province on Tuesday afternoon, local officials said Wednesday.

In addition, two other children were wounded.

The blast took place in Dar-e-Tapa village of Nijrab district of the province when the children were walking in the area, said Mohammad Razaq Yaqoubi, provincial police chief. 

“The wounded children were taken to hospital and now they are in stable condition,” he said.

No group including the Taliban has claimed reasonability for the explosion.
