At least two policemen were killed in a roadside mine blast in western Farah province on Wednesday, local officials said.
In addition, two other policemen were wounded.
The blast happened in the center of Farah city after a police vehicle struck a roadside mine, a spokesman for the provincial governor, Iqbal Bahir said.
“The wounded policemen were taken to a nearby hospital in the city and they are in a stable condition,” Bahir said.
However, he did not provide more details about the blast.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast.
