Two Policemen And Govt Employee Rescued From Taliban

Two policemen and an engineer from the Public Works Ministry (MoPW) were rescued from Taliban insurgents in a police operation on Saturday in Wardak province, Wardak police said. 
 
According to Wardak police two policemen from Ghor province and an engineer, from Ghor province’s public works department, had been on their way to Kabul when the Taliban abducted them in Jalrez district of Maidan Wardak province. 
 
Wardak police said that after their abduction Taliban ruled to kill them in an open court session but before before this could happen security forces rescued them. 
 
During the operation one insurgent was killed and two others were wounded, police said.
