A group of 30 Afghan female musicians performed at Davos 2017 Session in Switzerland.

Ahmad Sarmast, the founder of the group, said Zohra Orchestra works towards gender equality with each step it takes in national and international events.

“Every step taken by Zohra [Orchestra] eliminates gender inequality in Afghanistan and with every step they take, they go towards peace, stability and harmony,” he said at the event.
