Officials from of saffron processing companies in the country say the saffron harvest in the country had increased this year.
 
The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation said that to improve the cultivation, harvesting and marketing of saffron inside and outside the country, the Ministry of Agriculture has established a standard saffron sampling center in Herat.
