The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) signed a major water supply agreement to expand access for citizens to healthy drinking water. 

The acting minister says that these projects will be implemented in twelve provinces of the country, and with the implementation of this project, villagers will get access to drinking water.

On the one hand, the United Nations Children's Fund pledged $10 million to help the MRRD to increase the availability of clean water to children and mothers.
