Foreign officials in Afghanistan said the second of the two US service members who went missing in Afghanistan last week has been found dead
An official in National Directorate of Security said the body was discovered in eastern Logar province.
Meanwhile, NATO recovered on Sunday the first body of the two US missing sailors in the province.
The two soldiers disappeared last Friday after driving out of a military bastion without company.
Kidnapping of foreign soldiers are rare in Afghanistan, where a nine-year insurgency has been escalating in recent months, particularly in the volatile southern provinces of Helmand and Kandahar.
