Deputy Governor of the southern Ghazni province and 5 others were killed in a suicide attack on Tuesday morning, local officials say

According to official, a suicide attacker riding a motorcycle blew himself up in Do Ab area in Ghazni city when Mohammad Kazim Allahyar was passing by in his car.

"Six people were killed and 8 others were hurt in the attack," Zorawar Zahid, the police Chief of Ghazni told TOLOnews reporter.

"Yassin Allahyar, Mr Allahyar's young son, along with his two nephews and one bodyguard are also among the dead," he added.

The incident happened at 08:00am when the province's deputy governor was on his way to the office.

No groups, including the Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Police has already begun an investigation.
