The deaths bring the number of US troops killed in the Afghan violence this year to 243.
There are currently more than 110,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan. Of those, around 80,000 are from the US.
It comes the same-day that the Taliban attacked a Nato outpost and provincial governor compound, killing 12 including 4 policemen and injured 59 others among 7 policemen in Sayedabad district of central-eastern Maidan Wardak province.
Provincial spokesman Shahiddullah Shahid said that two Nato soldiers were injured in the attack.
Meanwhile the Taliban claimed reasonability for the attack and said that they killed and injured many Nato soldiers.
