Four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb in western Herat province, a local official said.
The ANA vehicle was hit by the blast while it was patrolling Monday afternoon, killing its four occupants, Herat Governor Daoud Shah Saba said.
He said the incident happened in the Chesht district of the province.
