The US commander of foreign forces in Afghanistan told reporters in a press conference on Saturday that the Taliban hideouts should be pressed outside Afghan borders.
A group of Taliban attacked NATO bases in the eastern Khost province Saturday morning, in which 11 Taliban were killed and five others were wounded.
The top commander of the US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan said the US president is boosting efforts to increase and empower Afghan forces.
