Representatives of political and armed opposition groups to the Afghan government recently held a meeting with European officials and politicians in Paris, the capital of France.

The meeting which included representatives of the Taliban, Hizb-i-Islami and former Northern Alliance members took place on June 20 with the aim of finding a way to end Afghanistan's conflict.
