Lotfullah: Mr Secretary General, thank you so much for your time. As my first question, Kabul just witnessed a 19-hour-long attack and President Karzai just issued a statement saying it was Nato's intelligence failure. How do you respond to that?
Rasmussen: First of all let me express my heartfelt sympathy with the Afghan people who suffer so much from these attacks from the enemies of Afghanistan. It was a coordinated attack and a very serious attack, but having said that, the good news is that we saw very capable Afghan security forces handled this situation in an excellent manner and thanks to the Afghan security forces. These attacks ended up being a failure and most of the enemies were killed, and I think that is really something that counts to see this increasing capacity of the Afghan security forces because that is part of our long term strategy to hand over in a gradual process to lead responsibility of the security to the Afghan security forces and these operations were carried out largely by the afghan security forces. We were there to support, but actually the Afghan security forces did the job and I appreciate that.
