In addition, the American-led coalition said that it had asked the Afghan government to investigate allegations of torture by Afghan Local Police units that have been trained and advised by American Special Operations forces.

But the Afghan Minister of Interior Mujtaba Patang has rejected the findings of abuse by Afghan Local Police.

It comes as the transfer of prisoners to Afghan government is one of the main condition of Afghan government for signing the Kabul-Washington security agreement.

In this edition of Kankash, host Omid Farooq looks at this subject with the following guests:

• Mohammad Abada, member of Parliament
• Mirdad Khan Nijrabi, member of Parliament
• Zulmai Zabuli, chairman of the complaints commission of Senate
