Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday went to northern Balkh province where he held talks with the Balkh governor and attended a ceremony that was held to mark Martyrs Week. 

Abdullah said at a gathering that the establishment of the Coalition to Rescue Afghanistan is legal and called on politicians and government's opposition parties to hold talks.  

Balkh governor Atta Noor at the same event warned the presidential palace not to carry on testing his patience.
