GOFTMAN: 7 and 8 Sawr Events Discussed

In the 7th Sawr military coup, the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) ended the rule of Nadir’s Khan family and established a new system which was known as the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.

On 8th Sawr 1371, Mujahideen factions took over Kabul and topped the pro-soviet government of Dr. Najibullah.
