Two Students And A Teacher Rescued From Kidnappers In Wardak

Two students and a teacher who were abducted on Thursday on the Maidan Wardak highway have been rescued by the Afghan police, local security officials said.

The three people were on their way from Ghazni to Kabul when they were abducted in Pul-e-Sukh area of Maidan Wardak province by armed men who took them to an unknown place, Wardak police said. 
 
According to the Wardak police after the incident police started investigations and rescued the hostages in a night operation. 
 
Wardak police said that before the police could reach the kidnappers they fled the area. 
 
The abducted persons are students and teacher from a private university in Kabul.
