The Chairman of Mahaz-e-Milli party, Sayed Hamid Gailani, said on Saturday that he, along with religious scholars, will soon form a delegation to engage in talks with the leaders of the Taliban.

Gailani, addressing the gathering, said most of Taliban leaders are in Afghanistan, not in any other country. He added that he won’t believe reports that Taliban leaders are outside Afghanistan’s borders.

“I do not accept the rumors that say Taliban leaders are in other places. They (the government) say this because they cannot do anything else and they use this as an excuse. Most of Taliban leaders are in their own country. I say to the Taliban this is your country and to the government that this is your country,” Gailani added.
