A number of the Afghan Air Force (AFF) pilots, who have been trained to fly the new Black Hawks, delivered in recent weeks to Afghanistan, have only good things to say about their new helicopters.

The pilots said the Black Hawks, supplied by the United States, were easy to fly and light on fuel.

A high-level delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in Kabul on Sunday to assess power export needs to Afghanistan and to discuss Afghanistan-Turkmenistan joint power projects, energy and water ministry officials confirmed.

Officials from the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) said the delegation, in addition to assessing Turkmenistan power exports to Afghanistan, will also hold talks with Afghan officials on a new project which will see Turkmenistan transmitting power to Pakistan through Afghanistan.
