Host Farahnaz Frotan discusses the current political situation with the president’s former special envoy for reforms and good governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud – along with his recent dismissal and other issues.

In the interview Massoud tells how President Ashraf Ghani told him he was not being effective in his position. Massoud rejected this and said he had been effective as far as his authority allowed.
