The concert was held at Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul.

Hundreds of people, especially youths, participated at the music show.

“It is our right to be happy in this day,” Obaid, another participant said.

Those who attended the music show urged Afghans to stay united.

“I really feel free, because today is our independence day,” Shahla, an audience, said.

“My message to our people is to be united and to accept each other,” said Halim, a resident of Kabul who attended the event.
