Following political tension between government and Jamiat-e-Islami Party over the removal of Atta Mohammad Noor as governor of Balkh by President Ghani Ashraf Ghani, officials and residents claimed that crime incidents and number of illegal armed men have mounted in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif.
