At a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Ghani and Trump discussed a number of issues including the war on terrorism. 

The presidential palace (ARG) said in a statement on Thursday that President Ashraf Ghani issued a decree announcing the appointment of Nasir Ahmad Durani as the acting minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock replacing the incumbent minister Assadullah Zamir.
