Acting minister of interior Wais Ahmad Barmak on Wednesday warned officers and generals at the interior ministry against corruption, saying those involved in corruption and misuse of authority would have no place in the ministry. 
 
Barmak made the remarks during the inauguration ceremony of the Women's Police Solidarity Complex and also said those resorting to violent acts against policewomen will be dealt with harshly and in accordance with the law.
