Five Rockets Land Close To Sayyaf’s Residence In Paghman

At least five rockets landed close to the residence of Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayyaf, head of the Council for Protection and Stability in Afghanistan and a former jihadi leader, in Paghman district in Kabul on Thursday afternoon, Kabul police confirmed. 

The rockets had no casualty, Paghman Police Chief Colonel Sardar Mohammad Hakimi told TOLOnews.

Hakimi said the five rockets were shelled from Wardak province in the west of Kabul. 

He stated that the incident is under investigation and has been shared with Wardak officials.

Close aides to Sayyaf have confirmed the report, saying that the rockets had no casualty in the area.
