U19s Return Home After Qualifying For 2018 World Cup

The Afghanistan National Under-19 Cricket Team on Wednesday returned home to a hero’s welcome after a successful tournament at the World Cup Qualifiers in Singapore.

The U19s coach Dawlat Ahmadzai said the strategy and the plans of the team will change following this victory.

He said he is committed to leaving no stone unturned to prepare his team for the ICC U19 World Cup 2018.

Meanwhile, the U19 team members said they are excited about their victory in the qualifying rounds.

Bowler Yusuf Zazai said he has gained a lot of experience from the competition.

He said the team will strive to achieve more successes for Afghanistan’s cricket.

Their last match was on Tuesday where they beat Nepal to qualify for the 2018 ICC Under-19 World Cup.
