
Kabul International Conference held on July, 20 this year in which foreign ministers from 40 countries had participated, finished its work by issuing a resolution
In the final resolution of this conference, it emphasied over mutual cooperation between the Afghan government and the international community, as well as the international community's commitments to Afghanistan.
Among the main issues discussed in the conference were the international community's donations to the country- 50 percent of which would be channeled through the Afghan government, economic reforms, the reduction of corruption, the empowerment of Afghan National Army and Police, peace talks with insurgents and supporting the Afghan government's reconstruction and economic development programmes.
The practical approaches in the conference are the expansion of the previous and new national programmes, considering the six-month and one-year priorities and a perspective of the presidential elections period.
Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, the coordinator of Kabul conference, Rangin Dadfar Spanta, head of the National Security Council, Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal, the Minister of Finance, and Mahmoud Saiqal, expert in international relations were the participants in the second Black & White debate programme.
