The Balkh Province Mauy Thai competitions ended on Monday as Pamir Muay Thai club received the championship title.
The victorious Muay Thai club received 35 points while Bigzad and Frozan clubs got 21 and 14 and bacome second and third in the competitions.
Mohammad Amin, from Pamir club was named as the best fighter in the competitions.
According to Balkh Sports Manager 10 top contenders were selected for the Balkh Muay Thai Team.
Around 80 contenders from 10 clubs participated in the competitions kicked off on Saturday.
The Muay Thai Federation was established in 2006 under Afghanistan's National Olympic Committee.
The Muay Thai currently prepares for the International Muay Thai competition which is going to be held in Uzbekistan in one month time.
Najibullah Sakhizada, Member of the National Muay Thai team received a gold medal in the Thailand International Muay Thai competitions in 2009.
