An Afghan mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, Edris Zazai, defeated his American rival in a match in Thailand, where he receives training for his upcoming competitions. 

His American rival is known as ‘the Hunter’ in the MMA world, the national MMA fighter Baz Mohammad Mubarez said.  

Mubarez who is preparing for an international event in Thailand confirmed the report and said the Afghan athlete showed ‘a spectacular performance’ against his rival from the United States.

Mubarez told TOLOnews that the match was held in Thailand on Thursday evening.
