Afghanistan's U19 cricket team is on its way to Malaysia for the U19 Youth Asia Cup which is scheduled to be held from 9 - 20 November, Afghanistan Cricket Board said in a statement on Wednesday. 

Their first match will be held against Pakistan’s U19 team on Friday.

Teams from eight countries will participate in the tournament. 

Afghanistan is in the same group with Pakistan, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates.

This comes after Afghanistan’s U19 team spent the last three weeks in India for training.
