Friday’s football match was ended 4-2 in favor of De Maiwand Atalan as the team displayed a collective performance throughout the game.
Atalan Beats Harirod 4-2 In APL’s Second Match
In the second match of Afghan Premier League (APL) tournament on Friday, De Maiwand Atalan defeated Toofan Harirod 4-2 by displaying a striking match against its rival.
The first goal was scored in the fourth minute of the match by Toofan Harirod’s Hamidullah Karimi.
“We have attended this tournament with a group of young players,” said Moeen Hami, the coach of Toofan Harirod. “We hope to have good results in this year’s tournament.”
Four minutes later, De Maiwand Atalan player, Ali Nazari netted the first goal and made the result equal.
In the 17th minute, Amruddin Sharifi scored another goal in favor of De Maiwand Atalan.
“This year we have hired good players from across the country and we have had heavy exercises. We hope to have good results in this league,” said Sayed Ali Ataee, the coach for De Maiwand Atalan.
In the fourth minute of the second half of the paly, Toofan Harirod player, Ghulam Nabi Eshaqzai scored a goal in favor of his team and again the results was equal.
Two minutes after the second goal of Harirod, the third goal was scored in favor of De Maiwand Atalan by Fardin Hakimi.
At the 87th minute, Amruddin Sharifi scored another goal in favor of his team and the result was 4-2 in favor of De Maiwand Atalan.
The tournament will continue with another match on Sunday in which Mawjhai Amu will play against Oqaban Hindukush.
