With this win, De Spinghar Bazan will play against one of the semifinalists of the Afghan Premier League's tournament in the coming weeks.

De Spinghar Bazan clinched a 1-0 win against Oqaban Hindukush and secured their place in the semifinals of this year’s Afghan Premier League.

The only goal of Thursday’s match was netted by Shadab Shah in the 50th minute of the game.

The next match will be played by De Abasin Sape and Toofan Harirod on Friday.

This comes after, Group A’s  Shaheen Asmayee triumphed 2-0 over Mawjhai Amu and paved their way to the semi-finals last week. Amu were not able to score additional points and were eliminated in this stage.

The two other members, De Spinghar Bazan and Oqaban Hindukosh each notched up three points.

De Spinghar Bazan conceded 4-3 in their first game to Shaheen Asmayee and cruised to a 1-0 victory over Mawjhai Amu in their second game.

Oqaban Hindukosh failed to capitalize their attempts against Mawjhai Amu in the first match and slumped to a 1-0 defeat. However, Oqaban showed great spirit to push their opponents all the way and scored an impressive 2-0 victory over the 2016 titleholders, Shaheen Asmayee, in the second match and sealed three points.

Oqaban started the sixth season with changes in their squad after recruiting some well-known APL players.
