Oqaban Defeats Asmayee 2-0 In APL Tournament

The Shaheen Asmayee FC, the team from the capital city, and Oqaban Hindukush FC, from the central zone, displayed a match full of opportunities in the second week of the Afghan Premier League (APL) on Thursday.

The match ended 2-0 in favor of Oqaban Hindukush.

Zainuddin Sharifi and Zmarai Salangi from Oqaban netted the goals of the match.

The game was started by Asmayee players but it was Oqaban who netted the first goal in the first few minutes of the competition.

Asmayee goalkeeper Kawesh Haidari made a mistake in the second minute of the match and this was turned into an opportunity for Oqaban to score their first goal.

Shaheen Asmayee players gave it their all but were unable to score. 

Oqaban meanwhile netted their second goal  in 43rd minute of the game.

The second half started with a storm of attacks by Shaheen Asmayee but they struggled to score. 

In the 68th minute of the match, Shaheen hit a goal but was ruled offside.

Shaheen had two other opportunities but failed. 

The next match will be held between De Maiwand Atalan and De Abasin Sape on Friday.
