Afghanistan Beat Ireland in 4th ODI Match

Afghanistan's national cricket team once again defeated Ireland by 79 runs in the 4th match of One Day International (ODI) series on Sunday.

The Afghan team set a target of 230 runs for Ireland after they won the toss and elected to bat first.

Mohammad Shahzad scored 22 runs, Noor Ali Zadran 10 runs, Rahma Shah 48 runs, Samiullah Shenwari 11 runs, Najiullah Zadran 3 runs, Mohammad Nabi 50 runs, Rashid Arman 60 runs, and Mirwwais Ashraf 14 runs for the team.

Rashid Khan finished with impressive bowling figures of 4-21, the Irish were unable to sum up any late resistance as the visitors quickly wrapped up a 79-run victory.

Earlier, Afghanistan had been in a degree of trouble at 90-5 as Andy McBrine claimed two wickets but after Rahmat Shah's 48 steadied the innings, Rashid Khan's unbeaten 60 and Mohammad Nabi's 50 saw the visitors post a competitive total on the difficult batting track.
