Afghanistan’s National Cricket Team is set to play their fourth of five One Day International (ODI) matches against Ireland on Wednesday in Greater Noida in India.

Afghanistan has defeated Ireland in the two ODI matches but lost the 3rd on Sunday by six wickets.

The Irish team was however whitewashed 3-0 in an earlier Twenty20 series between the two sides.

Afghanistan has squared off against the Irish 11 times now and won five of these but lost six others.

The team however was upbeat on Tuesday at a training session ahead of Wednesday’s crucial match, which could see the score either evened or Afghanistan winning the series.
