Shaheen Asmayee FC Seeks To Rectify Recent Setback

Tajikistan’s Hosilot FC last week defeated Afghanistan’s Shaheen Asmayee FC team, who are last year’s winner of the Afghanistan Roshan Premier League (APL), in their first match of the AFC Cup 2019 qualifying round in Dushanbe.

But, on Sunday, Shaheen Asmayee FC coach Begemberdof Bayer said that Shaheen Asmayee squad is ready for their next match against Hosilot team scheduled for Monday.

“We faced defeat in the first match, but now we are continuing our practices in the gymnasium complex. First we need to take into consideration the health of our boys, InshaAllah (God willing) our boys will win the next game, but if the game was played in Kabul, we would have had a better chance to win the game,” said Bayer.

Hosilot beat their Afghan counterparts 1-0 last week.

The two teams are set to battle it out on Monday in Tajikistan’s Dushanbe city.
