Shaheen Asmayee Set to Face Tajikistan’s Hosilot FC

Afghanistan’s Shaheen Asmayee FC team, who are last year’s winner of the Afghanistan Roshan Premier League (APL), is hard at practice ahead of their match against Tajikistan’s Hosilot FC in Dushanbe on Tuesday.

Shaheen Asmayee  arrived in Tajikistan last week for pre-match training sessions.

“The team’s morale is very high, it is fully prepared technically and tactically to compete in the match; our analysis from Hosilot team shows that our boys will perform very well in the game and we should win the match,” said Shaheen Asmayee coach Mujtaba Faiz.

Meanwhile, Shaheen Asmayee players have said they are sure their team will bring home a win.

“The boys are well-prepared, they continue their regular exercises on a daily basis, we will defeat Hosilot with the support of Allah,” said Shaheen Asmayee player Sayed Nasir Hussaini.

“As you are aware, we have continued our practice matches and promise Shaheen Asmayee fans we will defeat Hosilot,” said the team’s goal keeper Kawoosh Haidari.

If Shaheen Asmayee beats  Tajkistan’s Hosilot team, they will be one step closer to the Asian championship. But to reach the championships, they still need to beat Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Tuesday’s match is expected to be broadcast live on TOLO and Lemar TV.
